How long until I receive my order?

It depends on what you order. Manufactured, non-custom in-stock items usually ship within 5 business days, although occasionally some items can remain "on backorder" for several months. All Whitehall products (cast metal signs, garden accents, weathervanes, etc.) take approx. 3-4 weeks to be cast, painted and shipped.

Delivery times for the hand-made novelty mailboxes vary widely, from 3-4 weeks for the all-metal vehicles to between 6 and 12 weeks for the wooden ones depending on which artist builds that particular design. They are ALL custom hand-made to order and nothing is kept in stock. During busy seasons (spring and the holidays) it often takes longer due to increased volume. I haven't received my order, but my credit card has already been charged.

That is correct. All orders must be paid for in advance, particularly personalized artwork and custom made items. Our shopping cart is a "live" system that verifies, authorizes and charges at time of purchase. This has been suggested by the merchant account bank and participating credit card companies as a way to cut down on fraudulent credit card usage for both the customer and the online merchants. Moreover, we simply don't have the resources to keep track of who's already paid and who has not.

What if I receive it and I don't like it?

We don't create and ship commissioned artwork on approval. All custom made and/or personalized items, including the hand-made novelty mailboxes, are non-returnable. We don't have a warehouse to store things.

Undamaged manufactured items can be returned to the manufacturer (not to us!) in the original packaging within 30 days for a refund of the purchase price. Restocking fees may apply and shipping is not refundable. Damaged items will be replaced at no charge.
